Congratulations Carly Apar Floral Park Memorial’s class of 2014 Valedictorian.
Carly is intelligent, talented, unassuming and a phenomenal student. Throughout her years at Floral Park Memorial High School Carly has demonstrated tenacity and dedication towards her outstanding academic achievement. At the top of her class with a weighted average of 103, Carly will receive an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors. Carly’s commitment to her scholastic expectations has also earned her membership into both the National Junior Honor Society and Foreign Language Honor Society. In addition, Carly is named Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction, placed on the Academic High Honor roll, received numerous Outstanding Achievement Awards, and winner of the RIT computing Medal and Scholarship. These accomplishments highlight Carly’s academic strengths and prove that she has earned her title Valedictorian for the class of 2014.
Carly’s commitment is also reflected in her involvement in volunteer service and extracurricular activities. Carly’s continuous involvement in Model UN and Key Club, have contributed to the development of invaluable leadership skills that have permeated her positions as Captain and Treasurer of Kickline. Carly has also devoted her time as a volunteer at PM Pediatrics, and the YMCA in Bellerose, New York. Carly is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, and a distinguished dancer. She is an excellent role model for her peers. It has been a privilege to watch Carly blossom into the excellent individual she is today.

Congratulations Daniel Morgan Floral Park Memorial’s class of 2014 Salutatorian.
Daniel Morgan a highly accomplished senior for the Class of 2014, embodies the qualities that meet the standards of a Floral Park Memorial High School salutatorian. His academic GPA of 101.87 is demonstrative of his mature demeanor and résumé of extracurricular activities that include being appointed Captain of the Varsity Cross Country Track team, his musical endeavors that include his contributions to the New York Jazz Academy, Jazz ensemble, All County Jazz Band, and District Marching Band. In addition, Daniel completed the New York City Half-Marathon, helping his church team to raise over $15,000 for the World Vision Clean Water Project. Furthermore, this past summer Daniel returned from Annapolis, MD where he spent five days participating in the Naval Academy Summer Seminar program. In his final year at FPM, Daniel is enthusiastic about his future prospects.
