Talented art students from Ms. Glasser’s Illustration and Design, and Studio Art classes attended a field trip to the Nassau County Museum of Art to see Energy: The Power of Art. For this lively interactive exhibit, NCMA collaborated with Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Tesla Museum to combine art and science. Not only did students have the opportunity to see original works by Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, and Jasper Johns among many others but they also experienced a “cloud chamber,” to explore the supposedly “invisible” world of energy.
