The crisp, fall air carried in some exciting adventures for our current 8th grade students. Unfortunately, due to a bout of bad weather at the end of their 7th grade year, students were unable to go on the field trip to Adventure Park. This was sure to be a very memorable way to start off the 2024-2025 school year!
Over the course of three days the entire 8th grade class journeyed out to Wheatley Heights for some good old fashioned fun. Students were able to choose from a selection of different “aerial trails” in the trees, navigating from one tree platform to another, crossing challenge bridges, ziplines and other exciting elements.
This trip to the Adventure Park was all about active participation and team building. Students were provided with an opportunity to work together, build confidence within themselves and build trust with their peers. Most importantly, they had fun!
