What a night FPM! On Thursday, FPM held their annual STEM Night event. All students were encouraged to put their thinking caps on, and in return receive treats, prizes, and possibly some extra credit. Students were given worksheets at the entrance and were welcomed into the fun interactive games and activities. Games ranged from Mr. Arochas’ Hotshot Spot to Guitar Geometry with real guitars! Students were also treated to sweet treats such as cookies, brownies, and candy. Delicious! The afternoon felt like it would never end because of how much fun the activities that were. They proved that learning could be both rewarding and entertaining. Stem night showed students how subjects such as math and science could be fun if you just try and trust the process.
We are so thankful to all of the science and math teachers for dedicating their time to help make this event such a success. Although they were not the only ones who made this night a success. Thank you to those teachers and students who created the artwork and decorations and to all students that had volunteered to help serve those delicious treats.
We also thank all of the school’s administrators for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy this STEM event. It was truly a night to remember!
