On Friday, May 9th, more than 200 seventh-grade students from Floral Park Memorial participated in an engaging and memorable field trip to Topgolf in Holtsville. Despite the rainy weather, the students’ enthusiasm was not washed out as they took full advantage of the facility’s climate-controlled bays, allowing them to enjoy the day’s activities in comfort.
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to practice their golf swings and aim for the outfield targets, promoting friendly competition and camaraderie among students. The two-hour trip provided a welcome break from the classroom routine and offered students a chance to improve their golf skills and connect with peers in a fun and supportive environment. As the day concluded, students returned to school with new memories, new friends and a new increased level of school spirit!
