Last year, Brian Fox and Frankie Phelan earned high praise as freshmen on the varsity boys’ basketball team at Floral Park. And if the pre-season is any indication, they are continuing to impress the rest of Nassau County.

Both players were selected to compete in the Nassau County Top 40 game. The sophomores were chosen after showcasing their skills at the Top 100 camp. Following the game that was held on Oct. 18 at the PAL in Hicksville, the coaches selected ten seniors and ten underclassmen to compete against the Suffolk County All-Stars on November 1.

Both Fox and Phelan were selected for the Futures’ Game. This is quite an accomplishment for the two guards.
