Floral Park Memorial High School just had its first-ever International Night this past Thursday, March 6th and it was a blast! Students performed and set up food tables along with their families to display their culture. If it wasn’t for Mrs. Holohan and the help of the volunteers, this wouldn’t have been possible. Mrs. Holohan created International Night in order to bring students together, so they could learn about the wide variety of cultures present at Floral Park Memorial High School. Instruments, singing, arts, dancing, and food from different places were showcased, while providing entertainment and educational information.
Everyone was so appreciative of those who came out to participate in the event. This amazing celebration even caught the attention of News 12! Students and staff are all looking forward to another amazing event next year!
