Student Council held its annual Battle of the Bands on Wednesday, March 4th, 2015 from 7:pm to 9pm. The bands that performed were Rude Mood, Summer Haze, Dylan’s Reunion of Rockstars, Uncle Funkle, Avian Haven, and Third Rail. The “battle” was won, despite their considerable technical difficulties, by Third Rail, featuring Joe Leone, Philip Stern, Liz Talero, Dylan Slavin, and Katie Byrnes. Avian Haven came in second place. The Masters of Ceremony were Christian Franco, Mahesh Tiwari, and Thomas Kenna, and the event was coordinated by the wonderful Mrs. Faggioni, Student Council Advisor. All of the profits from ticket sales, t-shirt sales, and concessions went towards “Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.” A great time was had by all.
