October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast Cancer affects 1 in 8 women. It’s estimated 44,130 people will die from Breast Cancer. That is this year alone. Breast Cancer Awareness Month, created in 1985, started to remind women to get tested for Breast Cancer. You can help women with Breast Cancer by donating to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, INC. If you can’t do that then, show off your pink ribbon. On Friday, October 22 the school asks you to wear pink to show your support to the strong fighters against Breast Cancer.
