Joslyn Varkey is a tenth grade staff writer for The Shield. They mainly cover anything under the umbrella of politics. Joslyn it’s an avid reader and has a particular soft spot for literary classics. They also routinely read the news and keep up with politics and current world affairs. Joslyn enjoys a good debate and loves crosswords. They are an active member of many clubs including PEARLS and NJHS. In their free time, Joslyn can be found reading multiple library books that likely need to be returned in a few hours. They joined The Shield because they are fond of journalism and are looking to further their skills.
