It was my first time performing at the faculty basketball game, and I was both excited and nervous! The Florette members have a fun tradition that started last year, where we each pick our favorite teacher and teach them a simple, short dance consisting of two counts of eight.
My partner, Amanda Masciangelo, and I taught our math teacher, Mr. Drivas, the dance we created for him, which was a mix of fun and hilarious moments. There were definitely times when we both ended up laughing at our mistakes, but that only made the experience even more enjoyable.
On the day of the game, we all dressed up in silly costumes and put on a great show. All the girls on the team had their teachers perform crazy, funny tricks that made the crowd go wild. It was such a wonderful way to bond with our teachers and teammates!
