Mia Hernandez, Junior High Staff Writer
Mia Hernandez is an eighth grader at Floral Park Memorial. She admires journaling and going to parks in her free time. Mia likes reading poetry and informational books. She loves nature and learning about the world. Mia enjoys writing and researching on environmental issues. In the bubble of biology or nature she will gladly cover. Mia is joining the Shield again this year because she really enjoyed writing and learning new things. The Shield is a great way of using your voice to speak up and become more in sync with the school community. Mia will take advantage of the Shield to help advise people of the global issues going on in the current day.
