The 2025 Winterfest at Floral Park Memorial High School, held on Saturday, December 6th, brought spirited competition and plenty of excitement as students teamed up in pairs to battle it out in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch using a lively two-out-of-three match format. The event showcased teamwork, skill, and school pride, with teams cheering each other on throughout the tournament. After a series of hard-fought rounds, seniors James Urban and Aryan Rashid emerged as the champions, claiming victory while playing as Luigi and Zelda. Their win capped off a memorable Winterfest filled with fun, camaraderie, and friendly rivalry.
